OBJECTIONS TO THE FOREST MAPS

The company due to the experience it has gained from Forest Map Preparation, undertakes to submit and document the objections.

The Forest Map is posted after its certification by the Forest Agency, so that all persons concerned will be informed and proceed to the lodging of any objections-oppositions which will be submitted to the examination committee for Objections until the Forest Map is ratified.

In the objections only the land classification is checked and not the real property of the land.

The process that the company undertakes to handle is:

•To have the objection form filled out, proof of existence of a property right.
•Geographical coordinates of the area’s peaks.
•A receipt of submission of the special objection fee.
•Apart from all these, the person concerned has the possibility to mention whether they wish to be represented by a Technical Advisor.

PHOTO-INTERPRETATION STUDIES

Photo-interpretation is the art of examining aerial photos stereoscopically for the purpose of identifying objects depicted in them and drawing conclusions.

Studies in photo-interpretation and characterization.

Photo-interpretation studies and land classification.

Additionally, it undertakes to handle the entire process of objections during the posting of a Forest map.

FIRE PROTECTION

Studies aimed at the best fire-fighting. The main concern is the preservation of biodiversity, water balance. Through the studies long-term solutions are proposed for the areas concerned.
The studies are based on 3 main axes:

•Reflection of the current situation.
• Identification of problems that need to be resolved.
•Complete plans for the actions that must be taken.

STUDIES OF PHYTOTECHNICAL FORMATION AND GREENERY WORKS

Studies concerning the implementation of phytotechnical projects based on landscape architecture and the resistance degree of the wider space.

Elaboration of studies:

• Reforestations in fire-stricken areas.
• Restoration phyto-techniques in Sanitary Landfill Sites, Uncontrolled Waste Disposal Sites.
•Protection of slopes.
• Preparation of recreation areas (paths, bikeways, parks).

ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES

Regarding the Environmental studies, there are two cases:

Studies in Environmental impact which include:

• The description of the project or activity with data on the installation space, the planning and its size (geographic location, ownership institutional framework of management, infrastructures)
• Description of the current situation (Natural, social, financial, cultural environment).
• Description of the problems which will be created in the environment from the proposed project or activity.
• Identification and assessment of basic effects.
• Description of the measures which will be taken for the reduction or restoration of the negative impact on the environment.
• Technical summary of the project.
•Planning of management.
• Organization of applications.

Special environmental studies

•which concern the definition and management of protected areas (Natura areas 2000), as well as management plans for the protected areas.
